Rural Seniors

Many rural communities are experiencing an increasingly aging population.

This carries with it a range of challenges, including the need to provide appropriate housing, adequate long-term care, social services, fitness and cultural opportunities, and appropriate health care, all of which can, and often do, place considerable strains on the local tax base and a community's ability to cope.
