Rural Seniors Summit on Long-Term Care (Video)

The BC Rural Centre is pleased to share the recording of the Rural Seniors Summit on Long-Term Care, held on September 25 at the Kaslo Golf Club.

This community conversation brought together local speakers and community members to discuss seniors’ advocacy, aging and the future of long-term care in rural communities.

The summit featured:

Dan Levitt, BC Seniors’ Advocate
Tyler Dobie, President of VHKSS
Sarah Sinclair, Executive Director of the BC Rural Centre

The summit included presentations, community discussion and an opportunity to share questions, concerns and ideas about supporting seniors in rural communities.

We are grateful to everyone who participated and contributed to this important conversation. We hope this recording will help extend the discussion and make the information available to those who were unable to attend in person.
